CHEESY PIZZA SCONE SCROLLS:
2 cups wholemeal self raising flour
40g soft butter
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp mixed herbs
½ cup shredded tasty cheese + extra
½ cup milk + extra
Topping ingredients (choose your favs):
tomato paste, pineapple, capsicum, olives, mushrooms, brown onion, ham
Preheat oven to 200°c. In a large bowl, rub butter into flour using fingertips, until well combined. Stir in salt, cheese and herbs. Add milk + mix with a spoon until dough comes together (you may need to add a touch more milk if dough is too dry). Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface + knead until just combined. Use a rolling pin to roll dough into a rectangle 20 x 30cm in size. Spread with tomato paste, chosen toppings and extra cheese. Roll up lengthwise + slice into 12 pieces. Arrange on a tray close together and glaze with extra milk. Bake for 10 mins at 200°c and a further 5-10 mins at 180°c.
